Coffman Chapel at Hood College 401 Rosemont Ave

Guests are welcome to either walk, drive*, or take provided transportation to the ceremony. Please plan to be seated by 2:15 pm, latest. Coffman Chapel is a 23-minute walk from the Visitation Hotel. Shuttles will depart from Visitation at 1:45 pm and 2:00 pm, with return service available after the ceremony.

There will be a short break between the ceremony and cocktail hour. We recommend using this time to freshen up or grab a drink nearby! The Wye Oak Tavern Bar, located inside the Visitation Hotel and just steps from the reception, is a convenient and beautiful spot and opens at 4pm. McClintock’s Back Bar, True Standard Distillery, and Idiom Brewing Co. are also great options in the area.

*Hood College offers complimentary parking to guests on site for those who wish to drive to the ceremony directly. Please use the address 401 Rosemont Avenue, Frederick, MD and enter through the main gate. At the stop sign, turn right onto Brodbeck Drive, then turn left at the 3-way intersection onto Left - the East Campus Lot. Please call 301-696-3750 should you have any issues parking. Wedding guests will not be ticketed or towed unless parked improperly and during weekend hours, parking zones and signs are not enforced. Guest may leave personal vehicles overnight, we kindly ask they just be retrieved by 11 AM the following day.
